Solar power plants are located in the Ishikawa prefecture / Both were planned by joint venture partner Shizen Energy / juwi Shizen takes over the operational management.
juwi Shizen Energy, the joint venture between the German project developer juwi and the Japanese developer of wind and solar parks Shizen Energy, has successfully brought two solar parks online in the Japanese prefecture of Ishikawa. They were developed by Shizen Energy. juwi Shizen set up the parks as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) partner. They are operated by a 100 percent subsidiary of the gas supplier Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. The technical management is carried out by juwi Shizen.
The total installed capacity of 5.3 megawatts is divided between the two projects "Shika Town Inotani Chosuichi Solar Power Plant" with 2.589 MWp and "Hakui City Shimbo Town Solar Power Plant" with 2.746 MWp. As part of a traditional ceremony including priestly blessing, the two projects were recently handed over to the operator. Ishikawa Prefecture is located on the north side of Honshu Island and around 500 kilometers northwest of the capital Tokyo.
